My Rocking Chair Memories

A pessimist is a person who is seasick during the entire voyage of life.

Life is an adventure and this is a wonderful trip. Something that you will remember for "Rocking Chair Memories". Take alot of pictures and don't sweat the small stuff.

I was born 2 miles North of Drummond, Oklahoma. It was a ranch style house on a farm. I have 1 brother that is 4 years older than me. Attended all 12 grades of school at Drummond Public School. With 8 graduating in my class of 1969. Went to OSU and Wright Business school.

I have belonged to 4-H, Future HomeMakers of America, Sigma Phi Gamma, Oklahoma Business Women and Oklahoma Eastern Star.

I have lived in Drummond, Waukomis, Enid, Oklahoma City, McLoud, Chicago, Streamwood, New Orleans, and Ahmedabad, India.

My first marriage gave me 3 beautiful daughters. Bengi, Kimi and Kati. I also had a son that was stilborn in March 1977.

My second marriage I got another daughter Ronda and son-in-law. I have been self employeed ever since. We have owned several business, furniture, pizza restaurant, business cards - printing business, raising Rottweilers, waterbed store, Ahmedabad Relocation and internet SEO entrepreneur.

In 2010: My parents are still and in very good health, 3 really great son-in-laws and I have 9 WONDERFUL grandchildren. Jessica 14, Abigail 11, Jacob 10, Joshua 10, Jennifer 8, Brady 4, Cade 3, Ethan 4 Months, Camden 4 Months. They are the most precious things in the world.

I am currently working as CFO for SearchKing.com. We have an office in Oklahoma City and an office in Ahmedabad, India. I have also worked for my dad, bank in Chicago, Blockbuster Video's, AT&T, Express Personnel, El Chico, Olive Garden, Harry's Oyster Bar

I have traveled alot in my life, like going to the Worlds Fair in NYC in 1964, Acapulco in 1969 but most of the overseas travel has been since I turned 50. I have enjoyed every minute. Living in India has been a bit of a challenge, being away from my beautiful grandchildren, but the experiences and friends that I have met are priceless.

Another goal I have is to try to visit all of the states in the United States. In 2009 we bought a Class C RV, so that plans to make this dream come true is getting closer.
